hi guys. as u all know i'm an athlete, but i have a problem. somehow i have mest up my back. i don't know how... but i've tryed doing situps and that doesn't help. i tryed running, but it seems that the way my back is hurting it's slowing me down. and sometimes i feel like i'm gonna fall down. i've had this problem for about 3 or 4 days now. so i'm just wondering what should i do. any ideas?
Sit ups and running? Man you need to see a Chiropractor and quick, treatment for back pain is not something to delay ...good luck..
Well, my advice is definetely to lay off the exercise! If you have any damage to your back, then you should stop with the running and press ups as that will just make it worse. The liklihood is that your back injury is probably due to some sort of muscle strain, which is most common. And as such rest is definetely key. I would say though, arrange an appointment and go and see your doctor or osteopath or chiropractor, as you indicated the complaint has been there for 3 or 4 days, so if you're worried then please go and see someone. And in the mean time, stop the exercise, you never know, this might improve things too. Goog luck! Lucy
As someone has already said, you need to stop with the exercises. This will only increase the back pain, and make it worse. Also, as suggested, you should consider seeing a chiropractor, and a massage therapist, if possible. I, myself, am a massage therapist, and if you'd like to speak with me more, feel free to send me a private message, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. There are some back stretches that you can do to help relieve the pain, if it is just muscle strain. If you are interested, send me a message, and I'll be happy to help you. Also, a suggestion that you might want to try is to spritz a towel with water, then put it in the microwave for about 2 to 3 minutes. Then, place the towel on the area of your back that is hurting. (Be sure to spray the towel with water, otherwise it will burn in the microwave.) As I have said, if you'd like to talk further about this, don't hesitate to message me.

well, i've been laying off of wrestleing practice... but i don't know how long i can do that. i mean i have a rolling bookbag, and it's hurts like hell to try to lift that thing and go up flights of stairs. i have to walk very slow. like today? i did that, and i was out a breath! thx for that massage tip. i understand your from tennessee... if your anyware around memphis, that might help. but anyway, i still don't know how i did it!

damn it it's getting worse! it's almost a month and these dam iddiets want let me see a doctor! i can hardly get up from doing anything! i have to force myself to get up! on sunday, i was asked to help one of my friends, who has trouble walking, totake her to her place ware she stays. when we tried to make the turn she lost her balance and fell. i tried to stand her back up, but i've lost so much strength because of my back that i couldn't even move her! i can't take this pain much longer! and again, these iddiots wont let me see a doctor!
